Terms of Service
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Who We Are
Zeltru ("Zeltru," the "Service," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Funk Corporate LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Funk Corporate LLC is the operator and provider of the Service.
By accessing or using Zeltru, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Zeltru Is
Zeltru is a platform where people share and read information about companies' hiring practices — specifically, their own first-hand experiences applying to and interviewing with companies. Zeltru also tracks and displays job-posting information published on companies' own careers pages, including how long a posting has stayed open.
Reports are submitted through a structured, fixed-answer form: users select from predefined options rather than writing a narrative, and the Service does not accept free-text narrative in reports. Zeltru then displays aggregated statistics derived from these reports, and posting-age data drawn from public job boards. Zeltru does not itself make claims or judgments about any company's intent or conduct; users draw their own conclusions from the information presented.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using Zeltru, you represent that you are 18 or older, and you confirm this at sign-up. If we learn a user is under 18, we will terminate that account.
4. Accounts
To submit a report, you must create an account with an email address, and you must verify that email address before you can submit. You are responsible for:
- providing an accurate email address at registration;
- maintaining the security of your account credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not create multiple accounts to evade limits or moderation, share your account, or impersonate any person or entity. To limit abuse, the Service applies submission limits and rejects disposable email providers; the current limits are described in Section 5.1 and on our methodology page.
5. Reports You Submit
5.1 What a report is
A report is a set of fixed-answer selections about your own experience with one company's hiring process — such as the outcome, the stage you reached, timing, and whether the recruiter exhibited certain professional behaviors — optionally associated with a job title and location.
There is no free-text field.
Current submission limits: one report per specific job posting per account, three reports per company per account, and five reports per account in any 24-hour period. These limits are current operational settings and may change.
5.2 Your responsibilities
You agree that every report you submit:
- is truthful and based on your own genuine, first-hand experience;
- describes an experience that is your own (not someone else's);
- does not name or identify any individual person (recruiters, interviewers, or employees). The Service does not collect individual names, and you must not attempt to supply them;
- does not contain confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret information of any company;
- does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
5.3 What you may not do
You may not submit reports that are knowingly false, retaliatory, or intended to harm a company rather than to share a genuine experience. You may not automate, coordinate, or manipulate submissions to distort a company's statistics.
5.4 License to us
By submitting a report, you grant Funk Corporate LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display that report and any statistics derived from it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You retain ownership of your report.
This license ends when your report is deleted — including when you delete your account under Section 8 — except that aggregated statistics already computed and published, which no longer contain or identify your individual report, may persist and remain licensed to us.
5.5 We are a neutral host (Section 230)
Zeltru hosts user-submitted reports. We do not adopt, endorse, or independently verify individual reports; they reflect the views of the users who submitted them, not Funk Corporate LLC. We rely on the protections of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230) as a provider of an interactive computer service with respect to information provided by users of the Service. Our moderation, ranking, and publication-threshold decisions are undertaken in good faith and are not intended as, and should not be read as, adoption of any user's report.
6. Company Data, Accuracy, and Statistics
Reports are self-reported by applicants and are not independently verified by Zeltru. We publish a company's report-derived statistics only after that company has accumulated a minimum number of settled reports, and we count a report of no response only after a waiting period has passed since last contact. The current thresholds are published on our methodology page and may be adjusted; they are informational, not a warranty of accuracy.
Job-posting age data is drawn from companies' own public careers pages. Where a company's job board does not publish an original posting date, the age we show is measured from when Zeltru first observed the posting and is therefore a minimum, which we mark as such.
7. Flags, Disputes, and Takedown Requests
We provide a mechanism to flag a company's data for review (for example: the information does not match the company, a duplicate listing, or a dispute of the data). We may, but are not obligated to, review flagged content and remove or correct it at our discretion.
If you are a company representative and believe information about your company is false or violates these Terms, you may submit a takedown/dispute request to the contact in Section 18. Please include: the company and specific data at issue, the basis for your request, and your relationship to the company. We will acknowledge good-faith requests within 10 business days and tell you the outcome of our review when it is complete. Because the Service displays only aggregated, self-reported statistics and publicly available posting data — not statements authored by Zeltru — and consistent with Section 5.5, we are not obligated to remove content that does not violate these Terms, but we will consider corrections, additional context, or removal where appropriate. Removal is at our discretion and is not an admission of any kind.
8. Account Deletion
In the Zeltru mobile app, you may delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). On the website, self-serve deletion is not yet available; contact us at the address in Section 18 and we will delete your account and confirm when it is done.
When your account is deleted, we permanently delete your account, your profile, the reports you submitted, your saved roles, and your company requests and flags. We anonymize any job-posting entries you created — removing the link to you while preserving shared postings that other users' reports rely on. Deletion is irreversible. Aggregated statistics that no longer contain or identify your individual report may persist.
If you signed up for the weekly email, that list is stored separately from your account and is not removed by account deletion; contact us to be removed from it.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; scrape or systematically extract data except as expressly permitted; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or usage limits.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its design, code, text, graphics, and the "Zeltru" name and branding — is owned by Funk Corporate LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission, except for reports you submitted yourself.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE (INCLUDING USER-SUBMITTED REPORTS, DERIVED STATISTICS, AND JOB-POSTING DATA) IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. YOU RELY ON ANY INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNK CORPORATE LLC AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
The Service displays individual reports only as part of aggregated statistics and does not expose your individual reports to other users; however, your reports are associated with your account in our systems (see the Privacy Policy). TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPOSURE OF USER INFORMATION RESULTING FROM A DATA BREACH, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, THIRD-PARTY ATTACK, OR TECHNICAL ERROR.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this Section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Funk Corporate LLC and its owners, members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) reports or other content you submit; (b) your use of the Service; or (c) your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5.4, 10, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Oregon, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing an individual claim in small-claims court, or from filing a complaint with a government agency.
17. Severability; Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Funk Corporate LLC regarding the Service.
