Methodology: roles are counted from each company's own job board and dated by the posting date that board publishes, then checked daily. A “listed N+ days” duration means the board doesn't publish an exact post date, so the age shown is a minimum. Postings can remain open for many legitimate reasons — for example, evergreen requisitions, high-volume or continuous hiring, backfills, or slow internal processes. These are counts and durations only.

Postings that match known continuous-hiring patterns — per-diem/PRN and float pools, freelance rosters, talent pools, all-shifts requisitions, and postings an employer labels “evergreen” — are excluded from rankings and counts, since they stay open by design rather than going unfilled. They remain on each company's own page, and you can show them here with the “Include evergreen/pipeline postings” toggle.
